We’ve finally been given some new details about Babylon’s Fall. The upcoming game now has a new trailer for E3 2021, including some gameplay footage and developer interviews.

Babylon’s Fall is described as a hack and slash multiplayer online RPG that can be played solo or co-op via online connectivity. The latest update revealed that Babylon’s Fall will be a live service title, requiring an always-online connection and a promise of constant updates to the game through patches and/or expansions.

At the producer’s helm is NieR: Automata’s producer, Yosuke Saito, together with Junichi Ehara. PlatinumGames’s Kenji Saito (Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance) is taking the director’s seat with Takahisa Sugiyama, and is joined by live service director Shingo Fuchigami, lead game designer Isao Negishi, and character designer Kouji Tajima. WODAN Inc.’s Kenichi Iwao is the game’s scenario writer, and Hiroshi Yamaguchi as the game’s lead music composer.
