E3 2021: Assassin’s Creed Valhalla to be supported into its second year

Ubisoft did not announce a new Assassin’s Creed today at E3. Instead, they revealed that Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will be supported with DLC and updates into the second year of release. This s a first for the AC series and an unusual move for Ubisoft.

Just after Wrath of the Druids released last May 2021, The Siege of Paris is the next expansion for AC Valhalla and was announced during their #UbiForward presentation. The DLC is set in France where players will be able to participate in the Vikings most daring conquest, The Siege of Paris. At the end of the segment, Ubisoft revealed that we aren’t “done with Odin yet” as a little teaser for what’s to come later this year.

In addition to this, Ubisoft also revealed that the Discovery Tour – Viking Age will be coming later this year too. This will allow players to experience life as a normal person living in the Viking era.
