The 1977 Porsche 911 will be driveable in Cyberpunk 2077

Teased in episode 4 of Night City Wire, the iconic Porsche 911, first made into production in 1977, will be included in Cyberpunk 2077. The 911 will retain its classic interior and exterior looks as it was first produced (with a few customizations here and there, of course).

The Porsche 911 will be the in-game car of Johnny Silverhands (portrayed by breathtaking actor Keanu Reeves), but will be made available for the player as a fully-drivable vehicle. Further, a real-life and operational 1977 Porsche 911 Johnny Silverhand model will also be on display at the Porsche Museum in Stuttgart, Germany from October 15-22, 2020.

“Johnny’s a legend of the Cyberpunk universe. When thinking about what kind of car he’d be driving through the streets of Night City, we knew it would have to be one just as legendary as he is,” said Paweł Mielniczuk, Art Director at CD Project Red. “Having Johnny’s story in mind, and being huge fans of Porsche ourselves, the answer could only be the classic 911 Turbo.”

Cyberpunk 2077, an open-world, action-adventure story from CD PROJEKT RED, is coming to Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC on November 19th, 2020, with the version for Google Stadia set to launch the same year. The game will also be playable on Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 consoles when available.
