According to Japanese news sources, Japanese actor Haruma Miura has passed away at the age of 30.
Per the news and police reports, Miura was found hanging in his home in an apparent suicide attempt. He was immediately rushed to the hospital, but was pronounced dead on arrival at 1:00PM today. Miura was reportedly expected to work on a shoot today, and had staff search for the actor after not showing up to the location. Subsequently, his manager went to fetch him.
Investigators have found what is purportedly a suicide note left in his home located in Minato Ward. Initial findings have not seen signs of foul play involved.
Haruma Miura is well-known for his portrayal as Eren Jaeger in the live-action Attack on Titan film, and Kazehaya in the live-action Kimi ni Todoke film. He also took the lead role as Fujimaru Takagi in the live-action series adaptation of hit mystery-thriller manga Bloody Monday, and also nabbed the role of Ren Kazama in Gokusen, among many other roles.
