The latest DLC for Total War: Warhammer 2, “The Warden and The Paunch,” left a relatively-obvious easter egg in honor of the certified geek British actor, Henry Cavill.
In the DLC, as pointed out by PCGamesN, the Eltharion campaign has a Loremaster of Hoeth aptly named “Cavill.” Even Cavill’s trait, “White Wolf,” is a callback to Henry Cavill’s latest Netflix role as Geralt of Rivia. The trait gives a +15 bonus against large and a Potion of Toughness ability, in reference to Geralt’s primary occupation as a monster slayer and his predilection to drinking potions before battle to boost his battle prowess.
Adding Henry Cavill was certainly a nice tribute by the devs from Creative Assembly after the British actor posted spending his pastime painting Warhammer miniatures on Instagram. It’s also made clear to everyone that the Man of Steel is also a man of culture who spends his time playing Total War.
