One of Japan’s most popular rock bands, SPYAIR, held their outdoor one-man live Just Like This 2019 yesterday, July 27, 2019, at the Fuji-Q Highland Conifer Forest. The full production concert is SPYAIR’s annual summer live performance, and has been running for the fifth straight year in a row.
Moments prior to the start of the concert, fans were asked to be prepared for a probable cancellation of the one-man live due to a typhoon expected to raze through the venue, with the band wanting to prioritize the safety of the attendees. Thankfully, light drizzles and only a partly cloudy sky was cast overhead throughout the concert.
Just Like This 2019 was a jam-packed, full production concert with a massive set of 24 songs (including the band’s encore). At the end of the concert, SPYAIR has also announced that they will be concentrating their efforts on producing their next album after the concert, and will temporarily be taking a break from touring in preparation for their upcoming 10th anniversary. SPYAIR frontman, Ike, finally announced that their next live appearance will be at Just Like This 2020 happening summer next year, a national hall tour happening from autumn to winter season of 2020, and a Zepp tour during spring season in 2021. No specific dates have been announced as of this posting.
