After a rowdy Marvel Studios’ panel at Hall H of SDCC 2019, it looked like there was nothing left for Kevin Feige to reveal, especially after all the surprises that Phase 4 had to offer. But unexpectedly, the MCU head honcho still had to drop a few hints on the future beyond Phase 4 at the end of their timeslot at Hall H.
Amidst the erupting cheers and claps of the crowd, Feige addressed:
“We didn’t even mention that we’re making Black Panther 2. And we didn’t mention that Guardians of the Galaxy 3 is coming. We didn’t even have time to talk about Captain Marvel 2, by the way. I didn’t even have time to talk about the Fantastic Four. And there’s no time left to talk about mutants.”
It has previously been confirmed that Guardians of the Galaxy gets its third installment with James Gunn rehired to take the directorial helm. Meanwhile, Black Panther and Captain Marvel sequels have been teased and only given confirmation recently. Subsequent interviews with Feige have yielded no further details on the Fantastic Four and the X-Men in the MCU yet.
