[UPDATED] Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 to Launch in March 2019


UPDATE 6/15/2018: Ubisoft revealed more details about The Division 2 during E3 2018. Ubisoft announced that the game will offer 8-player raids, a full year of free DLC episodes, and a promising character progression in post-campaign.

The game’s character progression system offers players who reached the level cap with new signature weapons. The new weapons can also unlock a new progression tree that offer special abilities.

Microsoft revealed Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 during its E3 2018 media briefing. It was announced that the game will launch in March 15, 2019. Ubisoft also released official information on what The Division 2 can offer players.

Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 is set seven months after the world was stricken with a deadly virus. The Division agents’ task is to stop the fall of society in the most heavily protected city on Earth. The city of Washington D.C. The game offers beautiful and realistic environments, rich RPG systems, and fast-paced action. Players can play solo or co-op up to a team of four players. 

The game focuses on endgame-first mentality where players can have access to unique and diverse content even after finishing the main campaign. It promises challenges, new progression systems, and raids. Players can also have access to post-launch contents like a full year of additional story-driven missions, map expansions, and gameplay modes.

The game also features a Dark Zone which is described as an untamed area with some of the best loot in the game. It is the most dangerous area in the game where other agents can steal a player’s loot. Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 is an upcoming online open world, action-shooter role-playing game developed by Ubisoft Massive.
