UPDATE 5/25/2018 The Xbox One version of Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon will have a delayed worldwide release. The release date will move from May 24, 2018 to June 6, 2018, according to Inti Creates’ announcement on May 23, 2018.
The company apologized, and explained that it didn’t take into account the amount of time needed to set up the online store for every region. The game’s Nintendo 3DS version launched on May 24, 2018 in North America and Japan, but it is also delayed in Europe.

Inti Creates Reveals Its New 8-Bit Game Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon
Inti Creates streamed a Youtube video on May 11, 2018 that featured a message from Koji Igarashi. He introduced an 8-bit game titled Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon in the video, along with its trailer. The game was one of the promised stretch goal for Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night Kickstarter campaign.
Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon will launch digitally for the Playstation 4, Playstation Vita, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC this May 24, 2018, at the price of $9.99. Backers who supported the campaign with a certain amount will receive the game’s code. They can get the codes through a Kickstarter update, or via the game’s official home page.
Castlevania creator Koji Igarashi started a Kickstarter campaign in 2015 for a new game titled Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night. The newest title to the famed “Igavania”-style games. Inti Creates is the company handling the game’s development. The campaign currently has 64,867 backers with a pledge of $5,545,991. Interested players can visit the game’s Kickstarter website for previews and pledge bonuses.
