Crunchyroll will Simulcast Dances with the Dragons Anime


Crunchyroll announced on March 23, 2018 that it will simulcast the Dances with the Dragons anime series this spring. The anime will premiere in Japan on April 5, 2018 at 1:58 am on the Tokyo Broadcasting System.

Hiroshi Nishikiori will be the chief director of the anime, while Hirokazu Hanai will direct the series at Seven Arcs Pictures. Takayo Ikami will handle the series composition, and Masaru Kitao will design the characters. fripSide will perform the opening theme song, and Maon Kurosaki will sing the ending theme song of the anime.

Saredo Tsumibito wa Ryū to Odoru: Dances with the Dragons is a Japanese light novel series written by Labo Asai, and illustrated by Miyagi. Seven Arcs Pictures originally planned to air the light novel series’ anime adaptation on October 5, 2017. Production issues caused the anime to delay until April 5, 2018.
