During the Microsoft E3 2018 Conference, we got a glimpse of the Dying Light sequel, and it looks a tad more hectic than the first game.
Narrative designer Chris Avellone, who has already worked as a writer for games like Fallout 2 and Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, took the stage to explain the intricacies of the new game. Apart from the improved parkour movements, Dying Light 2 adds a more complex world management system. The world is affected by the decisions of the player, be it big or small. Just as shown in the demonstration, siding with any of the known factions in-game will result in a different in-game conditions, such as availability of resources, and the law and order of the towns.
Of course, the game isn’t without the usual zombie horde.
Dying Light 2 will be available for the Xbox One, Playstation 4, and PC.
