During EA’s conference at E3 2018, first to take the stage were EA DICE’s General Manager Oskar Gabrielson and Senior Producer Lars Gustavsson to discuss about Battlefield V.

The two discussed about a new and improved engine for destructible environments, and as shown via the on-stage footage, houses and small buildings can easily be torn down by a tank ramming its way through. Players can now crash through windows too!

Part of their announcement was also a new feature to be added to the Battlefield V experience. Dubbed Royales Reimagined, the game takes the battle royale experience, popularized by PUBG and Fortnite, and integrates it into the Battlefield V system and setting. We’ll have to wait for further details and demos regarding this new feature soon.

The Battlefield V trailer also teased a part of the single-player campaign story, led by a female protagonist. Details on the Nordlys War Story will be unveiled during Microsoft’s Xbox keynote.
