The anime adaptation of CAPCOM’s Ace Attorney (Gyakuten Saiban) games will get a 2nd season according to the official website of Yomiuri Telecasting Corporation. The new season will be titled Ace Attorney ~To That “Truth,” Objection! ~ Season 2 (Gyakuten Saiban ~ Sono “Shinjitsu,” Igiari! ~ Season 2). The anime will launch this Fall.

A-1 Pictures will return to handle the animation along with staff members director Ayumu Watanabe, series writer Atsuhiro Tomioka, composer Kaoru Wada, character designer and chief animation director Keiko Ōta, and assistant director Yukiko Imai. Yuuki Kaji will also return as Phoenix Wright, along with Aoi Yūki as Maya Fey, Masashi Tamaki as Miles Edgeworth, Chie Nakamura as Mia Fey, Masami Iwasaki as Dick Gumshoe, and  Tooru Nara as Larry Butz. The game’s original director Shu Takami will also collaborate on the anime.

The first Ace Attorney anime aired in April 2016. The anime covered the first two games of the series. Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney is a visual-novel adventure game developed by Capcom that first launched in 2001.
