It’s Mario Day today (March 10 = Mar 10 = MAR10… get it? lol), and in honor of the iconic italian plumber, Google has made an easter egg of him.

The Mario easter egg can be found on the Google Maps app for smartphones. Starting today, for a whole week, the red hat plumber will be your navigator in Maps. Just make sure you’ve updated the app to the latest version.

Calling the mustachioed plumber is easy. Just fire up your updated Google Maps app, set driving directions to where you’re going, and click on the pixelated [?] box in the corner beside the Start button. Call on Mario and let’s a-go!

The usual navigational arrow will be replaced with Mario riding his kart from the friendship-ending Super Mario Kart game. Banana peels and turtle shells, not included.

Apart from Mario Day, the easter egg tie-in is also a promotion for the upcoming Mario Kart smartphone game landing this April 2018.

But please, dear drivers. Don’t throw peels and shells on the road. Leave it in game.
