Netflix premiered Adi Shankar’s Castlevania series on July 2017. The series was a paltry four-episode run, but incorporated most of the original game’s spirit in a storytelling format well-received by critics and audiences alike.
While the first season’s complaint was the short run, Adi Shankar has confirmed last year of the videogame adaptation’s season renewal with an order of double the episodes, totalling eight episodes.
Warren Ellis, series writer and executive producer, has confirmed recently via Twitter that the said second season of Castlevania will mark its return to Netflix this Summer 2018.
