Assassin’s Creed Rogue gets remastered

Ubisoft has recently announced that Assassin’s Creed Rogue will get a remastered version for the Playstation 4 and Xbox One.

The remaster will have all of its add-on content from the original game; two new bonus missions: The Armor of Sir Gunn, and The Siege of Fort De Sable; plus the Master Templar and Explorer Packs, both of which have character customization items, weapons and bonus outfits, including Bayek’s looks from Assassin’s Creed Origins.

Initially released for the Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and the PC in 2014, Assassin’s Creed Rogue served as somewhat a filler game to placate then-current-gen console owners with an obligatory addition to the Assassin’s Creed franchise. However, the game has still received generally positive reviews upon its first release.

The remaster work will be done by Ubisoft Sofia, the core team responsible for the original game, and will be running on a 1080p default resolution, capable of upscaling to 4K on the PS4 Pro and Xbox One X.

Assassin’s Creed Rogue Remastered will be released on March 20, 2018.
