CrossFire fans of the Philippines, it’s your turn to show the world just how esports is done here.

A key partnership between CrossFire developer Smilegateand esports organizing body ESL has recently given birth to the CrossFire Stars Invitational, a brand new series that looks to take some of the world’s best players all over the globe – straight to the fans themselves

“The CFS INVITATIONAL was created to expand tournaments within Crossfire to bring enjoyment to global fans. Smilegate Entertainment will put its utmost effort to develop Crossfire esports by expanding its tournaments in cooperation with global eSports organizers like ESL.”

Manila, thanks to its rapidly growing reputation as a global premier spots for hosting esports tournaments of this scale thanks to the amazing turnout of loud and passionate fans in previous events earlier this year, has been selected as the site for the CFS Invitational’s maiden voyage.

Next month, four of the world’s best CrossFire teams collide in the CrossFire Stars Invitational: Manila, running from October 15-16 at the SMX Convention Center Hall 3, where pride, glory, and the lion’s share of the 30,000 USD prize pool will all be on the line.

Players from China, Vietnam, and Brazil will be flying over to the Philippines, where they get to experience firsthand the roar of Philippine CF fans – where there is little doubt that the local crowd will be completely behind Pacific Macta, the hometown heroes who have earned the right to represent the country after coming out on top of the 2016 PH CrossFire Elite League.
